Chemigrams are an experimental camera-less art form created by painting varnish oil onto light sensitive paper producing unique abstract images with unpredictable colours and textures.

Chemigrams are made by painting or applying resists like honey, oil, or varnish onto black-and-white photographic paper in room light, then alternating between developer and fixer to create abstract, painterly, and chemical-stained images. The process uses the chemistry to react with the paper, not light to expose.
